Powder Coating
Powdered paint is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the part. The part is then placed in an oven and the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous hard wearing film. We have a wide range of both RAL and BS coded powders always in stock. All other colours & types normally available within 24 hours. Zinc rich primers, antibacterial, textured, metallic, defence, low and high temperature, are amongst the powder finishes stocked. We provide a final inspection service that includes, a full range of Elcometer painted surface inspection equipment, i.e. Gloss level, film thickness, and paint hardness values.

All powder types are available, including epoxy and zinc rich primers and high temperature paints. RAL and BS coded powder always in stock, any other type available on next day delivery. Pre-paint phosphate and passivate can be provided. GEL can process prototypes, 1 off, and batch sizes up to 10,000. A separate solvent cleaning service is available. 48 hour turnaround (Same day by prior arrangement). Complex masking in media rated up to 260deg/c. A final inspection service, including a full range of painted surface checking equipment. A custom packaging service is available up on request. A pick up and delivery service is available by prior arrangement.
